Nolimat is an international group active in research in architecture and product design.
Our team creates designs for private investors and commercial companies and focuses on exploring ways how to connect advanced computational techniques with traditional and non-traditional materials and fabrication processes.
Nolimat aims to find solutions for our clients through effective communication among professionals with both commercial and academic backgrounds. Our teams vary depending on the type of project and actual requirements.
Filip Dubský, Ing. arch.
Filip Dubský is an architect and co-founder of the multidisciplinary design group Nolimat. He obtained his master’s degree at the Czech Technical University in Prague ("CTU"). He taught at CTU in Milos Florian's design studio - Glass and Free-form Architecture, and he led and organised workshops at CTU.
Filip Dubský works also as product designer for several Czech companies active in production of lighting systems and in interior design. He also won multiple Czech and international design competitions where he demonstrated his knowledge of materials, particularly using CAM techniques. He is a close collaborator of the design and art group e-area (
www.e-area.com).

Pavel Hladik, Ing. arch., MA, Ph.D.
Pavel Hladik is RIBA chartered architect and co-founder of the multidisciplinary design group Nolimat. He currently works at ArupSport where he has been involved in various projects across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Pavel Hladik obtained his master’s degree at the Czech Technical University in Prague ("CTU") and at the Graduate School of the Architectural Association – Emergent Technologies and Design. In years 2005 to 2009 he had been teaching at CTU in Milos Florian's design studio - Glass and Free-form Architecture, and at the Academy of Arts in Vienna. He was also active as visiting tutor in the design studio Molab 4D at CTU. In the past he led workshops in parametric design for London design schools, among others the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture and the Architectural Association. He holds PhD from CTU in Prague and his research focus on complex systems and advanced computing methods in architectural design. His research has been published and awarded in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Pavel Hladik's previous work experience includes various architectural firms in Prague and London, most notably Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (
www.som.com) where he worked as designer specialised in parametric design. He is a member of OCEAN (formerly Ocean North
www.ocean-north.net) and e-area (
www.e-area.cz).
Pavel Hladik is a registered architect both in the UK and the Czech Republic.
Mirek Vodak, Ing. arch.
Mirek Vodak is an architect and freelance graphic designer. He received diploma in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague in 2006. His working experience was as an architect in Studio A8000, Prague (shopping centres, bus terminal, concert hall) and CGA Architects, New York (commercial and residential buildings). He was awarded the first prize in the Porotherm competition in 2003 for a “Contemporary Village House” design. Mirek joined Nolimat group in 2009.
